Gauge bandages or an elastic compression bra will be wrapped around your new breast to fortify its contours. You’ll have to wear this bandage 24X7 for a few days. A thin tube will be placed through the breasts to drain out any fluids that accumulate under its skin.
You’ll be prescribed some painkillers and antibiotics to avoid infections and ease the pain.
Some tenderness, swelling, and bruising around the breasts is normal and will fade away in a few days to weeks.
